Proposal development
EGS supports the formation of research partnerships and funding of research projects, particularly within the international setting.
EGS is able to assist in partner searches, project planning, proposal writing and submission. With a scientific background, EGS staff can contribute actively to the development of the scientific aspects. As external advisors they can provide an independent perspective, and valuable experience in the presentation of the proposal, and development of exploitation and dissemination plans.
Typically, a meeting will be organised to discuss the project several months prior to submission of the proposal. If this is not possible, webconferencing and workspace tools are available to facilitate sharing of ideas and development of the project.
Advice is provided on all financial and legal aspects of participation in a research project. After a proposal has been selected, EGS can assist with contract negotiation and preparation of a consortium agreement, should a project proposal be approved.
The level of service can be adjusted according to your requirements, from a small amount of assistance in an advisory role, to a full level of service through all stages of proposal development.
For the full level of service EGS has a unique fee structure designed to be affordable for academic institutions and SMEs. For more information, please contact us.
